A night of fellowship, positive vibes, and celebration of the arts as we party with a purpose! This event is all about giving back to the adoptive and foster care community. Urban Unity CDC selected Spaulding for Children to receive 100 “Unity Bags." Unity Bags are duffel bags with essentials for children entering the foster care system. Proceeds from the event will help adopted and foster children with the following:
• Bridging the Gap— The efforts to bridge the gap with resources, necessities and support when transitioning from home to home.
• Assistance with Providing Essentials— Often foster youth are taken from their homes with nothing but the clothes on their backs. We would like to step in and be able to supply them with essentials that creates a sense of dignity and belonging.
• Building Out Programs —Additional proceeds will go toward Urban Unity CDC programs.

MENTORING MATTERS:
Mentors are an invaluable resource for youth, especially youth that has experienced trauma. With guidance, there is a chance for them to be more supported, prepared, and motivated to live their dreams and lead happy, healthy lives.

We offer the Unified Foster Parent Network, with the goal of connecting you to information, resources and services in addition to other adoptive and foster parents that can be a source of encouragement and support to you.
